How To Make Almond Milk Homemade

Here’s my Almond Milk Recipe. Homemade almond milk is so simple and easy to make. I had to throw together a couple variations for fun…Regular and Chocolate flavoured!

After reading the back label of a bunch of the store bought Almond Milk nutrition, I was HORRIFIED. This stuff freaks me out! There are so many additives and the list of ingredients are so long…. do YOU know what’s really in your Almond milk? There are many benefits of almond milk. Almonds are high in calcium, a descent form of protein for vegans. Making almond milk from scratch, it only takes minutes to throw together.

Homemade Almond Milk

Great over oatmeal, in shakes or used instead of cream in your coffee or tea.

1 tsp. vanilla extract from The Bikini Model Cookbook or 1 vanilla bean in tact

Dash Sea Salt or Iodized salt

Directions:

1. In a blender add the almonds(and dates if you use dates) and water, blend for 1 minute. Strain using a thin sieve or a cheese cloth. Pour the almond milk into a glass container, add maple(optional), vanilla and sea salt. You can store for 4-5 days in the fridge.
